So I downloaded iTunes the other day thinking I was going to rip some songs off of a few CDs to put em in my MP3 player.
But, iTunes only converts tracks into .mp4 files, and my mp3 player doesn't support such a format. Could someone suggest a good, free CD ripping program?
All suggestions are greatly appreciated.

If it's a PC, just use Windows Media Player and change the rip setting from WMA to MP3.

Goddammit.
Thanks for pointing it out.

I used to use CDeX a lot. I don't know if it still top-of-the-line though.

[NES:351e188cf3]I could never quite figure out how to make Windows Media Player rip files as mp3s, so here's my method:
First, rip the files from Windows Media Player. Easy enough.
Then download this free program that converts the files to mp3:
