So, I know a lot of you are huge Savage fans. Apparently they started the Dvd without Vince's ok and when he found out he scraped it.

I have seen no info to support this rumor. In fact, yesterday it was just anounced that the Savage DVD will be a 3-disc set, and will hit the shelves on November 17th.
Besides, it doesn't matter how much Vince hates somebody. Vince loves money. Vince has 40+ years of video archives from WCW, AWA, ECW, WWF/E, JCP, NWA, etc. If he can slap some clips together, get a couple of his people under contract to say a few words, and charge $30 a copy for it, you know he will.
Look at the Bret DVD. Or Warrior.

The difference is, Bret and Warrior were willing to do business, and vice versa. Savage has heat with Vince and with HHH, so it goes beyond a business thing into a family/personal affair. It wouldn't surprise me if Vince would miss this potential cash-in, just to try and bury Savage further.
It's really a shame, given how big name Savage was in the true heyday of wrasslin.

The rumor mill is also saying that Sting DVD has been cancelled due to the fact that Sting opted to stay with TNA.

That one I can understand, because if they're gonna sit on his WCW footage, they can release it at any time. The Savage one, though... I wish he'd do a shoot interview and say what happened.

self destruction of the ultimate warrior is hardly what i ould call a mutual business agreement.

But it started out as a mutual thing, and the deal went sour after they'd started work on the dvd. So initially, it was.

I don't think at any point there has been any indication that Savage ISN'T willing to do business with the WWE. Vince just seems to have an irrational hatred of him.
Meanwhile, I'm surprised that TNA hasn't signed Savage. He could either feud or tag with Jay Lethal and it would be pure gold. There's no way I wouldn't watch a Savage/Lethal angle. Hell, it could be 45 minutes of them arguing over who can eat more Slim Jims and I'd fucking watch it.

I know he did. But it would be better now. Hell, they've got Sting and Nash, they could have a Wolfpac reunion.
