So my dad gets me a Wii for christmas yesterday, which is cool except for the fact that the New Smash Bros. isn't coming out until February. So I'm kinda fucked until then. Anyone have suggestions? Also some good shooting reccomendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

I heard the new alien farts game is good shooting / light rpg fun if you don't mind assy graphics. It seemed okay.

* Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
* Link's Crossbow Training
* Game 1 of Wii Play
I've also got Bleach: Shattered Blade, but then again I'm a fan of the series so you might not like it as much.

I heard that the Legend of Zeldar Marios™: A Link to the Time of the Past of the Magic Flute of Time™ was a pretty good game.
You can control the butterfly catching net with the Wiimote and even use the WiiWheel when on the horse.

The only wii game i have ever played was mario party 8. i hated mario parties as they seemed cookie cutter but 8 was pretty fun.

The Legend of Zelda: It Sure is Boring Around Here.
But enough screwing around. Metal of Honor Heroes 2 is a shooter with great online play (due to the fact that it uses EA's service instead of Nintendo Wi-Fi, and EA's service is basically a clone of Xbox Live multiplayer).

Target had it on clearance for $12 today. I haven't played it yet, but for $12, the game would have to be REALLY awful for me to hate it.

Wii Sports (if you somehow don't have it), Wii Play, Mario Party 8, and Excite Truck multiplayer is fun.
Don't get Mario Soccer or Pokemon for the Wifi multiplayer. It randomly matches you with people. It always puts new people against experts.
