I will admit, i have played my fair share of games and did fair with most of them but these guys will put anyone to shame.

There are speedruns of many games off many systems. My favorites have to be off the NES, namely Metroid and Mega Man. The 100% all items Metroid run is impressive as heck because, if i remember from the trauma, Metroid was a damn confusing maze of a game.

Are they true speedruns or tool-assisted?

I'm fairly certain that those are non tool-assisted. I think they even have a no emulators rule.

SDA doesn't accept TAS videos. I know Red Scarlet from another forum... she has/had the Super Metroid record (dunno if someone passed her), and she said it was easier to just record on VHS to settle any disputes of a run's legitimacy.

It amazes me how someone can beat this version of Shinobi.. It was basically unplayable and I myself couldn't get past Mandara.

It was made by Tengen. and released in 1989.

And you know Tengen is as Tengen does.

...I sorta liked the music though.
