The WWE has suspended ten of its wrestlers for allegedly doping. The names are not being released.

However, Sports Illustrated is reporting that numerous WWE wrestlers allegedly received steroids, growth hormone and other prescription drugs via a Florida-based internet company known as Signature Pharmacy:

Chavo Guerrero received somatropin (HGH), nandrolone and anastrozole from April 2005 to May 2006.
Shane Helms received testosterone, genotropin (HGH) and nandrolone from November 2003 to February 2007.
Randy Orton received somatropin, nandrolone, and stanozolol from September 2004 to February 2007.
John Morrison was prescribed somatropin, anastrozole, testosterone, stanozolol and chorionic gonadotropin from June 2006 to February 2007.
Mr. Kennedy received anastrozole, somatropin and testosterone from October 2006 to February 2007.
Funaki received somatropin in March 2006.
Charlie Haas was prescribed nastrozole, somatropin, stanozolol, nandrolone and chorionic gonadotropin from August 2006 to January 2007.
Umaga received somatropin between July and December 2006.
William Regal received stanozolol, somatropin, genotropin, and anastrozole from November 2004 to November 2006.
Edge received somatropin, genotropin (both HGH), and stanozolol from September 2004 and February 2007.
Recently released Sylvan Grenier received somatropin, nandrolone, genotropin and stanozolol from February 2005 to July 2006.
Chris Benoit received nandrolone and anastrozole in February 2006.
Eddie Guerrero received nandrolone, testosterone, and anastrozole two weeks prior to his death in November 2005.

The records that SI obtained only go up to February 2007, so guys like Orton are potentially still doping. EPSN and the New York Daily News have also reported that Dave Batista, Chris Masters, King Booker, Santino Marella, and Simon Dean also bought drugs from Signature Pharmacy, but they didn't specify what.

While this is an important step, it was probably motivated solely to cover their asses for the upcoming congressional hearing. Vince would have never done this by choice, only if the situation forced him to in order to survive.

A lot of people are going to be disappointed that Cena hasn't been implicated.

If Cena isn't taking anything Eddie G. and Owen Hart are still alive hiding in Hawaii. The odds of that are extremely low obviously. Well shit there goes basically the whole Raw Roster. This should be even more fun to watch now.

I just had to move back to So Cal from Maui... Eddie and Owen aren't there, that's for sure. :p

I am not defending Cena be any means, but he might be legit.

Did anyone else watch the Discovery channel show, "Wrestling School", that followed a couple of no named indy wrestlers who were trying to make it to the big time? That show had Cena on it, when he was working in Cali, and was known as The Prototype. (A cyborg from the future gimmick, I kid you not.) They followed Cena as he went grocery shopping, and he filled his cart with nothing but about 20 packs of lean cut meat and about 12 gallons of milk. He said that he went through all that in one week.

He seems really dedicated to working out in most of his spare time.

Yeah, love him or hate, Cena truly does seem to live for the sport and he probably really is clean. It's rumored that one of the reasons that McMahon's been keeping the belt on Cena is because of the Congressional scrutiny that WWE been under lately. Even before the Benoit incident, the WWE was being investigated because of the whole baseball steroid scandal as part of a larger crackdown on steroid use in professional sports. Since the champion is public face of the company, McMahon wants his title holder to be someone he can point at and say "Look at this guy, he's clean."

It doesn't hurt that Cena comes across as a nice guy in interviews and stuff as well. He's pretty much the perfect face for the company atm.

Same here. He was better as a smartass rapper. But then, Austin was better before his gimmick relied almost entirely on "what" and beer, and so on for other guys.

Yep, I agree. I think Cena and HBK would be the best two spokespeople/faces of the company as far as all the congressional and media attention goes. Cena is charismatic and seems pretty straight laced. And, Shawn Michaels is heavy into the whole "Born Again Christian" thing. So, if I was Vince, these two would be the ones I send to Washington to speak before Congress.

HHH might be a third choice, but I think there has to be some prior Steroid use somewhere in his career. Look back to him as Hunter Herst Hemsley and durring the first run of DX, and he was pretty slender. Then when he became the top heel he was suddenly huge. Then he tore his first quad and came back even larger. Though if you notice since he has just come back again, he back to being more slender and looking more like pre 1999 HHH. I think he is clean now, but I am not so sure about a couple years ago.

He's different now? I was referring to the whole wigger thing. Last time I saw him while I was flipping channels he still had that ridiculous spinning belt and the baggy pants.

God, that got old quick. That "Damn" thing with Farooq that I've seen seems funny though. I'm sure that's gotten old since I saw him saying that after seeing two wrestlers hug.

Yeah. Before he used to wear throwbacks and talk general crap through raps. Now he wears whatever shirt they're selling at ShopZone, and once The Marine came out, he started doing weird army salutes and wearing camo.

Since he came to RAW, his promos feel more like watching a youtube of some guy trying to do a Rock impression than anything. The spinner belt is there because they can sell replicas to kids at TRU, afaik.

The "smartass rapper" gimmick refers to when he was a heel and he's come out every night and rap about how whatever town they were in sucked. Those were good times. Now he doesn't even rap anymore.

- WWE lawyer Jerry McDevitt confirmed to Newsday late Friday that one more WWE Superstar has been suspended for violating the WWE Wellness Policy, bringing the total to eleven. As it stands now, ten of the suspensions are for 30 days and one suspension is for 60 days, because it is the wrestler's second offense.

This comes after WWE released talent executive Mike "Simon Dean" Bucci. Bucci's name was on The New York Daily News list of names linked to Signature Pharmacy and word is he was called in for a meeting with WWE on Friday where they let him go.

WWE spokeswoman Jennifer McIntosh spoke to ABC News on Friday. "We've alerted our talent, basically, you've got fair warning," she said. "We believe that publicly announcing the names of performers moving forward is going to act as a deterrent."

According to Jerry McDevitt, at this time no more suspensions are expected.

actually if I remember, the prototype gimmick was supposed to be that he was the perfect prototype of what a man should be.

Goddamn, I WISH he would use that fatality line on RAW. I would die laughing.

Overall though, that's not too different from his current promos. He just needed to throw in some dick/fart/tranny/momma joke.

Eugene is gone. Finally.

I do hope they bring him back repackaged at some point and actually let him wrestle, but jesus christ. Worst gimmick of the last several years, hands down.

They should just let me be Nick Dinsmore. Who is a great wrestler and would be a great addition to the roster. Eugene was a terrible gimmick. But, other stars have survived terrible gimmicks and came back to be future legends.

Perfect example: Glen Jacobs. Went from being fake Disel & Dr. Issac Yankem, evil dentist, to Kane, who will be remembered and spoken about for a long time after he is gone.

And let us not forget Kevin Nash, who suffered through the incredibly silly Oz gimmick where he was a giant green wizard.
