A little while ago, on a console I'm Beta testing for an acquaintance, I completed Wizards & Warriors III: Kuros: Visions Of Power (In the wake of the first two games, of course). It's a real shame about the cliffhanger on which the game leaves you. I personally think it would've been awesome guiding a Medieval knight through a Cyberpunk setting on the SNES. What's worse, after IronSword and before this game, there was Chapter X: Fortress Of Fear on the Game Boy. It rates as terrible to mediocre on GameFAQs, but still, the implication that Kuros and Malkil had gone at it nine times up to that point...

Anyway, how would you guys have liked for the series to continue?

Wizards and Warriors sucked
Wizards and Warriors II sucked.
Wizards and Warriors III sucked.
Wizards and Warriors X sucked.

So I think I know how Wizards and Warriors IV would go.

Wizards and Warriors II was fantastic, dammit.

I don't really know what I'd want from a WAW4.

I love IronSword. The controls were a little iffy, but it was a fun game.

It's an abusive relationship. Ironsword doesn't love you. It just keeps giving you pain and suffering and offers nothing of value in return. Learn to let go.

That's not true. Bringing the presents to the giant animal kings is super satisfying.

As a kid I always thought Ironsword had a really neat concept but the experience was ruined for me by the game's ridiculous hit detection and difficulty.

And Kuros had that worst attack animation ever.

POKE. POKE. POKE. SOMEHOW YOU'RE DEAD.

I don't see how it would have much to offer that isn't already being done. It would probably create one hell of a challenge in terms of level design.

As a kid, the way he swung his sword was so weird it looked to me like he was attacking the enemy with hedge clippers.

Be honest, Syd, what you really want is more Fabio cover art.
