I read in our local paper that a muslim extremist from Jordan was cheering and praising the attacks, its just so senseless. What kind of human being praises the loss of innocent life, especially children? Its times like these that make me think extremism in any religion has got to go.
I really do hope they find the people responsible for this
Let's assume it's a mixture of the two!

It was a Saudi student injured in the attack that they initially suspected. He was held as a person of interest and his apartment was searched, but he's since been cleared of all suspicion.

I get the feeling that extreme islamists or some other bigger movement was not behind this, as they usually claim the attack as their own afterwards. This unfortunate act was probably done by a single person with a mixture of ideology and mental disorder, along the lines of Breivik or certain school shooters.
