This is a thread to talk about the greatest hits in videogames on your or by your character. I'm talking about your walking down a hallway and BLAM dog to the face stuff. Anything that really impressed you. Anything that made you say "wow".
One really great hit which I didn't record was when I got stomped by a Goomba!! I was playing Super Mario 64 on Tall, Tall Mountain making my way up to the top dodging those large wrecking size balls rolling around when a Goomba dropped off a higher up part of the mountain and landed on me.
I've never felt so violated.
This could only have gotten better if I was low on health and got game over'd. Super Mario 64 is great on providing entertaining big hits. There's this section on the snow mountain level where I fell down onto a snow area and Mario popped himself out of the snow in front of a snowman. After he did this the snowman slammed a snowball in Mario's face at pointblank range sending him flying down two stories of the level.
So post about times your character really got knocked the fuck out. And if someone doesn't post a video of Gene baseball special move from Godhand or Hunk soccer kick I will be displeased. I gotta record some Super Mario 64 footage. I find this footage amusing though:
What was supposed to be going on in that first video? At the beginning there was just a bunch of red dots, then Wesker was killed by some regenerators, then Leon walked down a dirt path.
Chris's Haymaker from RE5 is probably my favorite "hit" in video games.

Or really just this entire video (specifically the parts beginning at 2:26, 3:40 (why does this game have to be so realistic, that's probably exactly what would happen to me & how I'd react if that happened to me in real life), 5:49 (the way he waves his hand in front of where his arm used to be, i.e. phantom limb syndrome, will forever be burned into my mind), 10:00, and to top it all off, 13:13). Warning, major spoilers.

I've always been a fan of pounding jokers into the ground in stage 2 of Battletoads/Double Dragon.

@LushLush - Staking enemies into the ground is cool. God Hand had that move used exclusively on midgets!
I removed the RE4 video since it didn't make much sense to feature a grab attack as a big hit. I think the best big hits done by the player are
(1) DK Punch in Smash 64
(2) Spinning backfist in Vanquish
(3) Hunk's soccer kick in RE4.
