Yeah, I think things were said about this a year or two ago in some random thread but...yeah.

Will Sasso - Curly
Sean Hayes - Larry
Chris Diamantopoulos - Moe

Gag me with a spoon. Oh, and there are cameos from the cast of Jersey Shore. Cool beans!

I'm not watching any Three Stooges without the real Three Stooges. The chance of seeing any of those nasty non-human creatures from Jersey Shore puts me off it even more.

The original cast was Jim Carrey, Sean Penn, and Benicio Del Toro. I'm not joking.

Saw them filming at the corner of 14th Street months ago; unfortunately due to ongoing traffic, I wasn't able to see what scene they were filming in particular.

And I was kinda hopeful about the movie until you mentioned Jersey Shore has a cameo...

Moe looks spot on, Curly looks more like Curly Joe, and Larry just looks like a homeless person.

The Stooges were such an important part of my youth, so I both want this to succeed and fail at the same time.

synopsis apparently :
While trying to save their childhood orphanage, Moe, Larry, and Curly inadvertently stumble into a murder plot and wind up starring in a reality TV show

The new cast... no.

Yeah I would've given this a chance.

But anyone from the same show as someone who wants to call themselves "The Situation" just turned me off of this.

Will Sasso makes a decent looking Curly. The other two look awful.

I don't know if they could have made him LOOK like Larry, but you know who sounds EXACTLY like Larry? Billy West.

Absolutely. Here he is as Larry at Woodstock from the Howard Stern Show.

the look is close enough to the original ones. the voices are pretty close. my niece thinks it looks hilarious, but she is only 6 years old.

personally, i dont think it will work, but i guess we'll see.

It looks like 80% really awful, lame jokes from family-safe '90s movies (HURR EYEPHONE), and 20% actual Stooges humor (the headache one was pretty funny). Either way, I have to admit they deliver their lines well, and Moe's actor is pretty dead on with the voice/mannerisms.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

God, I'm so conflicted right now...

The slapstick is dead-on and the plot seems fitting for the characters (raising money to save the orphanage if the visual cues are any help), but it's the rest of the movie that worries me, specially the whole Jersey Shore cross-over(?), and the iPhone joke got old stupid fast.

The inner child who grew up watching the Three Stooges is praying this movie is decent good at least, while my cynical side wants to shatter said rose tinted glasses and just admit they'll manage to mess this up somehow.

Yeah, I totally agree Atman. Some of it actually seems good, but it appears to be surrounded by so much shit, that it will be inconsequential. Plus, the timing on the slapstick seems a bit off. It does not seem as natural as the originals (of course), who were able to practice it for years instead of the months that it presumably took to make this movie...

You know, Billy West makes an almost convincing Larry... except I couldn't stop thinking of Stimpy the whole time.

I'll see it, even with the Jersey shitheads in it. I just like the Stooges that much.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas.

I'm certainly tempted to see it myself Undeath, due to my eternal love of the stooges. But that same love also says I should shun such terrible things. I'm in a quandary.

Who let Will Sasso out of Mad TV? Actually, the plot synopsis sounds like a bad Mad TV sketch...

Also, as he was an avid Stooges Fan, I'm sure my father is rolling in his grave.
