So over the summer we went on vacation, and they had a really kick-awesome arcade in the village, and...one of the games they had was Revolution X.

It was everything that Syd said it was. Well, maybe not everything, since the left gun wasn't working, but it was both extremely fun and ridiculously 90's. Fortunately, the arcade wasn't crowded enough that I couldn't hear; the voice clips really make the game.

And I actually got the top daily high score! Woo-hoo!

Oh yeah, I also got a high score on Galaga '88. The arcade also had Crisis Zone, and the original Metal Slug. Crisis Zone is definitely better on the PS2, if only because the graphics are way better. The arcade's gun is better looking (it's an actual blue SMG), but I actually prefer the GunCon 2.

...Does anyone care about this enough for me to post a picture or two?

The game isn't bad for a gun game. The trick is, can you find all of the Aerosmith members?

I remember me and a friend got THIS close to the best ending, but ran out of quarters on the final boss.

I remember playing that game a few times in an arcade when I still played hockey. That game is so much fun.

Last time I played was a few years ago at a local movie theater.

I remember playing Revolution X in a shady arcade in the basement of one of my local malls (Harrisburg East Mall, now known as Harrisburg Mall) when you could still smoke in a mall, and drug deals going on in the corners. It sat right next to Time Killers and across the aisle from WWF Wrestlefest.

I played it in an arcade that closed down a decade ago. Since Time Crisis was right behind it and I didn't even make it into the club, I thought that the lack of ability to hide from enemy fire made it literally impossible to beat at the time. Now I think it's impossible in one credit.

I'm not a bad enough dude, but I am an edgy little shit. I'll do what I can.
