According to the poster of this video, there is going to be a new Yoshi game, one that will be made by some of the people who worked on Kirby's Epic Yarn. (Presumably Good-Feel Co., Ltd.) I am totally excited about this, as I'm a huge fan of the little dinosaur and words cannot express how much I Want to plat it now.
I sincerely hope it comes true.

A second analog stick?
Does anyone else think that makes it look horrible, in a bulky way?

Yeah, I saw that, too. I wonder what it'll be like with that thing on.
In any case, I don't think it'll ever be as bulky as the Game Gear, as much as it has a place in my heart.

People need to relax about the second circle pad, I can't imagine any games "forcing" it on you, it seems like just another option to work with.
A good example of this would be playing a Wii game with the Classic Controller over the Wiimote.

one of the rumors is that Monster Hunter Tri for the 3DS will need that 2nd circle pad. rumor is, they will include that god awful looking monstrosity w/the game to move units, kind of how the motion plus was included w/other games.

The Yoshi's Island game for the DS was terribly uninspired in my opinion, and was also made by Good Feel, so I hope they up the tempo a bit in this one, reduces the focus on stupid collection, and maybe tries some innovative things with the level design, to make this game not a snoozefest like their other games. Actually, all their games are boring. Wario Land: Shake it, Kirby's Epic Yarn and Yoshi's Island DS. zzzzzz

Actually, Yoshi's Island DS was actually made by Artoon, which had previously worked on a GBA title I thought was horribly underrated, Yoshi's Topsy-Turvy/Yoshi's Universal Gravitation.

I read that it wasn't required.

Yeah, that was embarrassing. You are right of course, which weakens my point. Good Feel have made Wario Land: Shake it and Kirby's Epic Yarn though, both decent but boring games in my opinion, and the last Yoshi's Island on the DS felt the same way. Anyways, hope this one turns out better.

Well, I hope it turns out great, too. I loved Yoshi's Island DS, but shamefully, probably because of my OCD on collecting things in games, I never finished it.
