Similar to Operation Rainfall (unoriginal but the name certainly fits the title), these guys are organizing a fan petition to get Majora's Mask done on the 3DS.

Petitions are dumb.

The big threat in Majora's Mask is that the moon will collide into the planet in 3 days.

This. A well-worded, well-formatted hand-written letter is worth 10,000,000 e-signatures. Hell, even a quick profanity-laden e-mail is worth about 100 of them.

Companies do not want to hear from a group of people whose only effort they invested is a few mouse clicks. They don't care about 100,000 e-people who have nothing to say aside from "RELEZE MY FAVROATE GAME FUCK3RZ!!!", or from the 1 person who clicked it 2,000 times. They want to hear from people who took time, effort, understand how the business works, and actually have some good and interesting points to make.

I also think this won't work out anyways, though i don't mind people trying.
I would like to play Majoras Mask on 3DS and to say a hand written letter has a higher chance of success is just plain stupid, sorry Usa.

Angry Moon in 3D would be mint. But I'd rather have a new Zelda on the 3DS.

I throw up everytime i see Wind Waker, so i'm good with a Majoras Mask with altered graphics. I hate all Zelda games after Majoras Mask, except Twilight Princess (wich had it's flaws too).

I have to agree with Usa. Letters and emails are usually better. That way, you get actual responses, and unlike a petition, with letters and emails, where they actually read the things, it puts more pressure on them to make said games.

This. I'm writing an essay about how complaining never works and that all of the recent disillusionment is actually good for gaming. I've had it up to here with people thinking that they know what they want and what's good for the businesses they thought loved them. Those kinds of gamers are irredeemably selfish and myopic; that they don't realize that they're the minority is what makes them the most dangerous. I hope Operation Rainfall ends horribly or that they're attacked by a rival organization because they're the most selfish of them all. They don't care about Nintendo, they only want a few games that Nintendo attached their names to despite knowing nothing about them.

I'm not a bad enough dude, but I am an edgy little shit. I'll do what I can.

As if they even need a petition to release Majora's Mask on the 3DS. As successful as OoT was, you know that shit is coming.

No. To think that a company cares just as much about someone going "click" as someone who took the time and effort to actually support their cause is what's stupid.

Even with paper petitions, you can get anyone to sign anything if you just hold it in front of their face.
