This is clearly a topic about the Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus. I agree that it's very serious and warrents discussion but I think it's in the wrong forum.

Tomb Raider - fall 2012 looks cool. I hate the camera getting distorted with water, but otherwise it looks intense as hell.

Mass effect 3 will have voice recognition... the dialog portion is dumb, but controlling your teammates is awesome. You can have them take actions specific to your voice command. They are hitting home that this is a "Kinect" feature... I bet the PC will have it too though.

Gunsmith for Ghost Recon... allows you to build a weapon from scratch using different parts. So... little kids will now know how to assemble machine guns from parts... The Kinect ability to shoot and move without a controller is kind a neat. All future Tom Clancy games will use Kinect.

New Xbox interface looks like Windows 8/ Windows Phone 7. Voice controllable if you own Kinect. Bing is coming to xbox and is voice activated. It isn't a web search though. It is a xbox/live navigator.

Brothers in Arms: Damn it. Went from a fairly uninspired WWII shooter with neat mechanics, to a game with a great story and characters that improved greatly with two installments. Now it's an Inglorious Basterds rip-off. *sigh*, I'll keep an eye on it, but first impressions were disappointing as a series fan.

Uncharted 3 looks really REALLY pretty. And people like Sly Cooper, or so I'm told.

Aside from that, I haven't seen or read anything particularly fantastic. Microsoft is still pushing Kinect and Sony is pushing 3D glasses. Oh boy.

What's with all the voice control BS? Does anyone actually want to control their Xbox with their voice commands? Nintendo tried that 20 years ago and it was a horrible idea then. Is it just me who doesn't want to shout at their TV or PC screen in order to play a game?
