I wanted to find out what NES games others have always wanted to own, that they never have before, or once owned but no longer have and really want to own again.
This may or may not have anything to do with my next raffle.

Technology kind of fixed this problem for us. I now have every NES game.

I've always wanted a copy of Nintendo World Championships 1990,
And uh, copies of the original Zelda and Metroid games if they were to have their boxes and stuff.

More information may be found here. |

Let me rephrase, then. The original, physical copy of an NES game.

I own most of the best NES games, but there are a few that I'm still looking for.
Bomberman
Bubble Bobble 2
California Games
Cowboy Kid
Clu Clu Land
Dragon Fighter
Duck Tales 2
Elite
Faria
Fire N Ice
Flintstones Surprise at Dinosaur Peak
Galaga
Ghostbusters
Ghoul School
Gun.Smoke
Hatris
Isolated Warrior
Jackie Chan’s Action Kung Fu
Kung Fu
Lemmings
Little Samson
Panic Restaurant
Popeye
Power Blade 2
RC Pro Am 2
Rockin Kats
Stack Up
Super Cars
Thrilla's Surfari
TNMT Tournament Fighters
Toki
Ultima IV: Quest for the Avatar
Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny
Wacky Races
Wild Gunman
Wizards and Warriors III
Zombie Nation
Granted, a lot of those aren't that rare, but I can't find good copies of them. If I owned those, that would put my total owned at over 250.

The rarest I have is "Bandit Kings of Ancient China" with the box and manual. Got it for $8.

I got Power Blade 2, Ultima IV: Quest for the Avatar, California Games (and 8 other games) with a top-loader NES for $25 from a guy I worked with. Hooray for nicotine-craving smokers.

When it comes to NES I own most of the ones I cannot do without, the rest are just expensive curiosities to be emulated so I can see if they are worth playing and buying, or things to keep an eye out for when shopping...
If we're talking SNES I've go a ton to collect, only own Mechwarrior NIB as part of an unrelated collection, don't even have an SNES anymore.

Slaves. I've always wanted to own Slaves. That's a NES game, right?

Slaves II is better. (The U.S. version) The Japanese version is way too hard.

Well, imports, mostly, especially the Famicom Disk System games.
Oh, and Nintendo World Championship.

I always wanted Dragon Warrior, but never owned it. I rented it multiple times, and I would always get just powerful enough to kill a magician before having to return it and start all over.

Just beat that recently with everything but the 5th arrow upgrade. Farming reaperettes by repeatedly pissing off Death is a good way to get hearts as well as experience toward the bigger life bar.

...the fuck? Dodds took down all his profile info and appeared to quit the site a month ago and now he comes on just to quote himself in this thread?
Seems fishy.

Crystalis. My parents used to have it with our video store, but my parents sold it when we closed the place. Haven't seen it since.
