I can get behind this. I'm surprised at how natural it sounds.

I agree with both FNJ and Alowishus here.

Also, those drums are ultra synthesized hehe.

I don't know if I'd really call that metal. It sounds more like Generation Swine era Motley Crue, which wasn't so much metal as it was "This is what metal sounds like... right?"

I really really like it though.

"metal" is very broad though, and can apply to many things. This is definitely the lighter side, but could still be classified as metal.

Heh, this is where I reveal that my band is working on a hard rock version of this tune.

A good melody's a good melody, plain and simple.

Does anybody here have a Ross Rifle?

It sounds kinda punkish almost and those are likely "punk" guitar players.

Wrong. There is nothing even remotely metal about Disturbed. You can scream along with 'please daddy, no!' until the cows come home, conceive, give birth, die and have thier brittle sunbleached bones crushed under the hooves of thier children decades later, but Disturbed will never legitimately deserve to be called a metal group.

What those people look like is negligible since they aren't actually playing what you are hearing.

It's obviously a different audio track dubbed over the video.

Also, that solo wails too hard to be punk.

I've also noticed the banjo player isn't even "finger picking", why even bother having a banjo player then.

Is she not meant to play country or something?

That solo is definitely not punk. Being a sort of minimalistic genre if it was a punk solo there wouldn't be that many notes.

lol at Miley Cyrus speed metal.
