I have kept up with Chuck for the last few years and last night's season 3 finale was definitely worth it.

Anyone else catch it?

I did.

One thing annoyed me though. Chuck killed Shaw. Chuck and his dad find the Ring base where Shaw was regenerated and turned into an Intersect. Moments later, Chuck's dad is killed. Seriously?

They introduced Magic Claire Blood, and then immediately ignored it.

I really thought Chuck's dad was alive when Chuck got that text and was disappointed that he wasn't. Other than that, great episode.

Bryce Larkin

Also, I knew Shaw wasn't dead the minute he fell over the railing. It was the same as Lois in family guy when Stewie shot her.

I do agree however that it sucks that the dad had to die. I wonder if they will do a Dexter thing more with him as a memory role model like Harry is to Dexter.

Speaking of Bryce, I'm unclear on how Sarah had Bryce's ashes. Didn't Season 2 end with the Ring operatives escaping with Bryce's body?

Also, Bryce is only dead because Matt Bomer got his own TV show.

Scott Bakula's "Men of a Certain Age" schedule didn't interfere with Chuck. Still, you knew the second he promised Ellie that he'd never leave again that he was going to die.

Wait... it was mentioned that she spread his ashes, but we never saw it right? It is possible that it might not be him if she didn't witness the cremation. In this show if your body still exists when it goes off screen, you might be alive.

Personally I think Bryce and Chuck's father are both now dead, but ya never know for sure. I still feel like Kristin Kreuk's part in this show isn't over. Also, I have a feeling that Casey's daughter is going to now be a major player in the story.
