The musical episode from Batman The Brave and the Bold. The Music Meister is voiced/sung by Neil Patrick Harris. If you want to watch it on TV, it'll be reairing at 7:30 Friday evening.

This incarnation of Batman just got a lot gayer.

I already couldn't take this show seriously because Diedrich Bader does Batman and he just uses his humorous angry-growly voice. Which makes me laugh.

I take the show for what it is: an animated take on Silver Age Batman. I watch it to laugh.

Do we really need to keep calling him Doogie Howser? THE MAN'S FUCKING NAME IS BARNEY STINSON!

Or at the very least, Dr. Horrible.

Is this the same Batman cartoon that has Joker with dreadlocks and Riddler is an emo kid?

This. Just like the Tim Burton films served to show a serious Batman (Though I will never accept that Michael Keaton is serious ever) as a counterpoint to the Adam West era, this serves as a counterpoint to the Nolan films.

Until the end of time, Batman:TAS will always be the standard bearer that every other superhero shows will be compared to. And, no Batman cartoon now or in the future will probably ever be as good as it was.

Disagreed

While it was good, I'd have to say Spiderman was better. I prefer Batman entirely to Spiderman, but as far as cartoon series, Spiderman was better. There were times in Batman that were downright ridiculous and dumb, it's hard to say the same about Spiderman.

It is because of a distinct lack of Mark Hamill in most every other cartoon.

I think this article matches my opinions perfectly:

http://www.toplessrobot.com/2009/11/the_15_best_episodes_of_batman_the_animated_series.php

The series could be serious, comedic, or just a plain mindfuck. This was the first superhero cartoon, and probably first cartoon in general, that touched on such a wide range of topics in very mature and intelligent writing. I'm not the only one that thinks so: multiple critics and Emmy nominations support this theory as well.

Only thing that I really didn't like, was how Batman fucked Clayface over.

Make your arguments all you want, Clayface was fucked over.
