Tonight's episode was not as bad as the others but still too much pointless stuff. The entire thing with Peter trying to find a toilet that leads into a five minutes of pointlessness. The main story was better but still had a lot of dumb moments that were a waste of time. Stewie not setting up the cut-away was pointless. Also what the fuck was with the "Russian Cut-away Gag?" Also the entire improv thing was really lame and the John Wayne joke got old after immediately. And yet another Cleveland bathtub gag...fuck that!

You should probably just make a general Family Guy thread instead of a whole separate thread for each episode.
But yeah, tonight's episode wasn't awful. I just sit through it till American Dad comes on.

What's with the animated shows riffing on old movies lately? First South Park does The Sixth Sense, and now Family Guy busts out Spies Like Us.
And meh, it was OK. The show needs to be less meta, though.

eh, the episode wasnt that funny, but i didnt hate it. each season will have its up and downs, unfortunately FG seems to have have more downs than ups

As so many others have said, it was very average. I think most of us expect the fun of the first three seasons when we watch, and we just aren't getting it.

Every show can't be great forever, This season's Simpson's is like a dead model, yet some necrophiliac dude has to come along and digg her up, then proceed to pork her dead corpse repeatedly like she is going to all of a sudden go back to the way she was.
but to get back to topic
With jokes going to Seth's AD and now CS, its easy to see why its gotten worse.

Because there will usually be one moment that is good compared to the several good moments of a show.
I guess that logic could go to the Simpsons as well because there is usually always one good joke or chuckle.
