A great start for a new season.

I liked the first episode. I wasn't LMAO but it was humorous throughout.

That's creepy well animated and one of the first episodes in a long time to make me laugh.

Well this was a surprising opening to the season, considering the past few seasons have seemed somewhat phoned in. Everything screamed classic Family Guy to me, and the Disney scene was amazingly done, I just hope that this episode is a bar that they will meet or exceed in quality. No more 8 minute Conway Twitty interludes please. Well they got my attention again lets see if they can hold it.

I thought it was pretty funny. How did people feel about the two stronger religious jokes?

Joke 1: Universe without Christianity had no religious wars and was therefore 1000 years more advanced
Joke 2: Disney is horrifically Anti-Semitic.

1) Makes sense.

2) Even if it's just rumors, it's funny regardless.

I personally think they should had saved those jokes for a mid episode, because let's face it: This is going to be one tough act to follow for the rest of the season.

Well I didn't watch it, but their were wars long before Christianity and their would be wars long after.

As for Dsiney well that is a debate that will go on for eternity since any accounts will come from people trying to take him down or close personal friends, family, or fans.
I don't really think the people behind family guy believe it either they are merely playing on the rumor for comedic shock value.

1.Coming from a dedicated athiest, europe would probably be trapped in a stasis of quarreling pagan tribes and science would be held back. Christianity did a great deal of good for science and the arts, and you would sorely miss their intellectual scaffolding.

2.Disney isn't semitic because they don't have anti-semitic policies or works to my knowledge. Walt Disney might have been, but I'm not sure about that either. Still a funny skit.

I'm tempted to post the video of Donald hailing Hitler but then again, that could have been mocking the nazis. I really cannot image Walt being openly anti-semite, since he did own a huge business, being open about his hate would not have been kosher. So we may never know if Disney had it in for the Jews or not, lets just be glad that the child eating Disney monster from Robot Chicken has yet to surface.

It was better than most of the shit from season 7 but I still thought the religion/political stuff was being showed down our throats...again.

I liked how in earlier seasons the religion/political jokes were handled much better and were done in a more tasteful way. These days they are just being very mean-spirited about them. I'm not religious but there is a fine line between being tastefully funny and just being flat out mean.
