I was at work the other day trying as hard as I can to think of some TV programs that had only lasted one season. I'm pretty sure "Freaks and Geeks" only lasted one season as well as "The Adventures of Briscoe County Jr."
I thought "La Femme Nikita" only lasted one season but I was later told it was on for 5. Wow.
Anyone know of any other series that had a short shelf life?

Blind Justice(2005)
Game Over( a show about video game characters when no one was playing them...)
Anything on the WB (if it did last more than one season it shouldn't have)

The Ripping Friends was on Fox Kids. It only lasted one season but I think it was because they brought in the Fox Box.

Why is that? War at home was a pretty good show...

Undergrads and Star Gate Infinity.
I wish they'd had another season, I was told it was only meant for one season, whether that's true or not I'm not totally sure but I thought it was entertaining enough for a second season.
I also wish The War at Home got a second season, I liked it quite a bit. It started to drag a bit toward the end but the first half was quite good, one of the few shows I tried my best not to miss every week.

Season 4, Episode 1 of Family Guy would be happy to list a bunch of Fox shows that only lasted one season.
I was gonna post it initially but couldn't find it.
Here it is. Hah.
I totally forgot about That 80's Show and Andy Richter Controls the Universe.
It was on the WB in like early 2000 I believe. I was basically the plot of that shitty Matthew Perry/Zac Efron movie 17 Again, except Do Over did it first. So I guess 17 Again was the real Do Over. Haha.
Anyway, dude was 30-something, his life sucked, and he magically got sent back to high school in the 80s with his foreknowledge.
It was a pretty entertaining show, the mom in it was hot as hell, but it never made it past its first season.
Also, Undergrads was robbed. ROBBED. It deserved better. If you ever do anything creative media-wise, please, for the love of God, Jesus, YHWH, Buddha, Odin(my personal favorite,) whatever, DO NOT sell your idea to MTV. They will rape it, and rape it good.

You know, for all the crap Fox gets about cancelling good shows, at least it tries. All I see on the other major networks are crappy sitcoms and cop dramas.
Also, Three-South on MTV.
So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.
