Haha that's gonna be great. Seeing him give an actual bear a spinning piledriver will almost he as good as when he was able to do it to the dinosaur in cfj.
Also, is it sad that I reconize all of the recycled animations and stuff here? I'm hoping that's just because it's a quick thing built to show proof of concept to skeptics like me on how it would work, but kazuya is using abel's rival battle intro.

I still really wanna see Soul Calibur characters in one of these productions, the universes have pretty good counterparts. I already wanna see the Vega v. Voldo match-up.
Which brings me to another question. I guess since these are two different games, they will have different final rosters?
That's a good question. They'll probably be very similar though.

I imagine since it's SF vs Tekken, you won't. There's plenty of characters between the two rosters that they won't need to reach into any of their other properties to do so.
Now, if these are successful and we get Capcom vs Namco, then yeah, we'll probably see that happen.
I'm interested to see how this all plays out. It'll be especially interesting to see how Namco handles putting in the SF characters into the Tekken 6 engine.

Yea man, I realize that. It's just wishful thinking. Of course there are plenty of characters between the two games.
I just think SC characters in a vs. game would be great.

My guess is that they'll be the same content wise but one will play like SF4 while the other will play like Tekken, that way they'll appeal to either preference.

Nah, while I agree with in how you think they will play, I feel as though they may be varied a bit content wise. If anything it's a smart business move.
I wonder of they'll drop on the same release date.

Well, we could just look back at the last time capcom did something like this: Capcom Vs SNK and SVC chaos.
I mean, apart from the 'mandatory characters" like Ryu, Kyo and other monossilabic bruisers, there were a few different characters, like Dmitri, Tabasa and Mars People on the SVC chaos, and on the Capcom Vs SNK we got Hokuto and Kyosuke from Rival Schools, for example.
Me, I'm looking forward to seeing the tekken guys Drawn SF style and the SF guys drawn tekken style. That's like 5% of the fun

New teaser video, probably the opening game cimematic for SFxT:
Honestly, I think I liked the last 20 seconds of that video best.

I think I am actually more excited to see the SF guys in the Tekken style, that sounds very interesting to me.
I hope they don't get lazy and just copy and paste existing characters in SSFIV over. I also hope they don't stick every character from SFII in there.

Marduk is MASSIVE. Well, so is Bob, but it's not the same
Good to see some new info on this, I was afraid the whole project had gone south.
Too bad Namco has yet to show their stuff, I wanna see what a more realistic Ansatsuken would be like (My guess is, no fireballs )

I'm a little pissed about Bob, though they don't need to do much since they did have Rufus in the SFIV. I'm going to wait for the Namco one and see how that is. (Please god let them include Eddie)

Four more characters have been confirmed as members of the cast in the upcoming Capcom-developed Street Fighter X Tekken mash-up.
On the Street Fighter side, series mainstay Dhalsim and his stretchy limbs will unsurprisingly be available. Poison, who was originally a Final Fight character, has also been confirmed by producer Yoshinori Ono. Tekken adds boxer Steve Fox and ninja Yoshimitsu.
Besides the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions that are in the works, SF X Tekken is also coming to PlayStaton Vita. The game will feature a bonus character -- Infamous protagonist Cole -- on Vita.
