Maramusa is being shipped to me now, so I'm excited about that one. Other than that, the only 3rd party games I have for the wii are Data East and SNK collections.

And the answer to your question is yes, there are plenty of interesting exclusives including Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Muramasa, Monster Hunter Tri and Madworld to name a few.

But you are right, the first-party Nintendo made games tend to be superior to their third-party counterparts. Nintendo knows how to develop for their hardware the best.

I fixed your post, now I'm gonna go play more mindless mini game compilations on my wii. Bbl.

Wow, how divisive this topic has gotten. It looks like the announcement of a new Kid Icarus game has degenerated into a fanboy dick measuring contest.

Ignoring all that, whether you like Kid Icarus or not, I personally will give it a try. I have fond memories of both the original and the Game Boy version. I've played Kid Icarus hacks that manage to keep the nostalgic smile on my face. Therefore, the property has done me no wrong, and I'll give it a chance. Realistically speaking, what's the worst that can happen? It sucks? The world's not going to fucking end. I'm exasperated that it's not 2D, but hey, I'll try it anyway. I won't pass it sight unseen just because you view it as your parents' game and not yours.

I wasn;t trying to be a fan-boy, or whatever, I just take notice that the Wii collects dust in my house. I love Nintendo, I am rooting for them to win all console wars because they are directly linked to my childhood. I just think they can do a better job getting third party game developers involved. I mean, damn, Rare basically kept the N64 alive for most of it's existence. I would settle for that same situation, one good developer who can make quality games for the Wii. Oh well, I guess I can Just Dance.

I wasn't talking to you, Ash. It's one thing if you legitimately enjoy your Wii or don't, but it's quite another, like some other people, to gripe about the other side (Xbox360 vs PS3) based on what you think you know. I don't own a 360, and I love my PS3, but I'm not going to call X360 owners stupid for not buying the console I like (based on nothing but personal conjecture) alone.

I mean, I could be wrong objectively, but I don't want an Xbox because it seems that the most heavily hyped games sold for it are all grim and gritty space marine shooters, things that make it to PS3 eventually anyway, or Fable. Meanwhile, I heavily enjoyed the other sides' exclusives like Heavy Rain, Little Big Planet and Infamous. I just prefer these things, is all. I'm not going to sit here and tell someone that bought a 360 that they're stupid for choosing what I see as not as good, because it's MY personal preference. I'm NOT the Game Play Police.

I thought the game looked sweet, and I enjoyed Kingdom Hearts, so even if it's a complete rip-off in terms of game play, and fight sequences... I DONT CARE. Undeath, if you are referring to me, I never called anyone "stupid" for owning or playing a 360. I have never owned a 360 but lived with a room-mate for four years that had one, not too mention about 70% of my friends.

It's more than just "personal conjecture", it is based on first-hand observation. In my personal experience, the console is more heavily saturated with shooters and has overall less variety than PS3 and was stating my opinion, nothing more, I wasn't even being aggressive. Relax guy, nor am I the "Game Police".

Question on the Data East collection! Have either Karnov or the Karnov sign been removed from Level 1 of Bad Dudes? The company that released the collection doesn't own the rights to Karnov, which is why his game isn't on the collection. I have been holding off on buying this because I'm afraid both he and his name have been edited out.

Ya, I have heard good things about Alan Wake, that game was in development forever. I remember seeing a demo for it in like 2004 before the 360 even came out.

No, don't get me wrong, the 360 has a few great exclusives that aren't necessarily shooters like Fable and Alan Wake. Just, I usually see people gravitate to the console solely to play shooters and because it is the console that most of their friends own to play shooters.

Granted many of those games exist on PS3 (MW2, BF:BC2, etc.), but they are not as popular. Most of my friends statuses on PSN are playing fighters, RPGs, action games and then shooters toward the bottom.

My understanding is that people on the 360 and PS3 play the same fucking games, except substitute Gears of War on 360 for God of War on PS3.

360 actually has some really awesome shmups.

My problem is i just like a few games from each system.

Brawl/Melee, Street Fighter, Halo, CoD4, Final Fantasy 12/13, Mario Kart. of modern console games.. that's all that really comes to mind

I would love to see this on the actual 3D screen. I, for one, love that 3D doesn't require glasses anymore. It is hard for me to imagine that the future that I was promised as a child will actually happen. This looks incredible, and if this is done right it could be wonderful. 3D TV and gaming is just a step away for us average Joes. Now for the hoverboards.

NONONO. Why is there so much talking? Nintendo has made Pit into such an annoying character since his reemergence in Brawl.

Game looks better than decent. (obligatory comment about wishing this was made for Wii).

And if it doubles as a stand for watching Netflix (it's just a piece of plastic, after all, and should work with anything on 3DS), all the better.
