Well, Axl has said the album is done. Now he's in talks with the record company over ist release and promotion. The label is a position where they sunk so much money into the album that they need it to do well, but at the same time, they don't want to spend additional money promoting it.

Hmm, a friend of mine gave me a nameless song that's supposed to appear on Chinese Democracy.
All I can say is that the song sounds, well, different. I guess you all took a listen to it already. Cannot say if it's the one on Rock Band 2.

At first I thought that I would never listen to it until it's released, but someone handed it to me and I was in my car and I was like, "Okay, let's give it a try." So I listened to it: It's a really good record. It's very different from what the original GUNS N' ROSES sounded like, but it's a great statement by Axl. Now you understand where he was heading all this time. It's a record that the original GUNS N' ROSES could never possibly make. And at the same time it just shows you how brilliant Axl is. So it was a relief for me to actually hear it.
So apparently Slash actually likes the new GnR Album. Figure that.

Sounds like Axl's trying to be White Zombie. It's weird, that's for sure. Doesn't mean it's bad, it's just different, and it sure doesn't sound like GNR. Odd indeed.

Um, not at all.
This song sounds nothing like the leaked tracks from the album.
Try and track down "IRS", "The Blues", or "Madagascar". They sound a lot more like what you'd expect Axl songs to sound like.

It still doesn't do it. I dunno. Every now and then it does that with videos and music files. So did my last computer. If I delete, reboot and try it again, sometimes it works. It doesn't do it too often. I never did know why though.

They're saying November 25th. With the song on Rock Band and another one supposedly in an upcoming film, this date has more support than the others, but still...
But if it does come out, this will be the first year of my life I could say I bought the new Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, Metallica, Judas Priest, AC/DC, and Guns N' Roses.

It cost $13, about half the price of their other stuff, and I kinda liked the new single. But it was definitely worth the money. They actually did remember.
