Dane Cook & Lewis Black used to be my favorites, but their quality has been decreasing with the increase in their popularity. So now, I don't know....Bill Burr or Jim Gaffigan?

Bill Burr is also fantastic, so is James Norton. O&A PARTY ROCK!

And I was never a big fan of Dane Cook. He's funny about fifteen minutes a month, then his act gets old. I can't get into the whole "LOOKIT, I'M LOUD AND HAVE A LOT OF ENERGY!" schtick.

I don't think 'sctick' is even a word.

His physicality is what really got me into him in 2000 after his Comedy Central special came out. It really adds to the joke, like in his routine on Catholic Mass in that special.

Let's see...

Lewis Black, Dennis Miller, Robin Williams (earlier work more than later), Mike Judge, Margaret Cho and Josh Blue all come to mind.

I also remember this one comedy showcase program on Comedy Central that had this pair of comedians and one of their finishing gigs was Dueling Banjos played via two cassette players. Does anyone know who I'm talking about

I've seen that before, but hell if I remember who they were.

Also, I'd like to add Penn & Teller and the Amazing Jonathan.

I like bill hick's myspace quote:
"Hello, I'm Bill Hick's and I'm dead now."

In fact, all comedians I like are dead, with the notable exception of George Carlin.

George Carlin can't die, every time his body decays it collapses into pure awesomeness, which reconstitutes itself into a new George Carlin. That's how much he rules.

No, these were two guys in sort of Geek Squad-type apparel. I don't think either of them were bald either.

But I did see the Sklar brothers Comedy Central Presents one. That was damn funny.
