Couldn't they be charged with the same thing the people from the zombie dance party were, which was like simulated weapons of mass destruction or something?

If they are convicted, I'm going to be pissed. It will thoroughly display how much paranoia this country has. I don't think the terrorists would make a bomb that also WAS BRIGHT AND SHINY SO IT CAN BE NOTICED. They've been at this thing for years and I'm sure with everything they have completed so far, they're generally pretty good at it. Making bombs outlandishly noticeable isn't very tactical.

I hate how the keep referring to it as a hoax. The word hoax inherently implies that the devices were intended to look like bombs and cause widespread panic. It is quite clear that was never the case. So while there was a bomb scare, there was never any sort of hoax.

That is one of the greatest press conferences ever. When they are exonerated, as they should be, I hope they show up on Adult Swim somehow, as unlikely at that is since Turner is going to want to distance themselves from them.

People are idiots. I am embarassed for all of them. I don't even understand how jail time is a possibility in this case. If a jury finds them guilty (if this even goes to court) it will be one more piece of proof that the system doesn't work.

What bugs me is that "Lost" was doing this back in the summer with the whole: Lost Experience! They were posting glyphs and candy bars across the country. ABC made a fortune (in endorsements) and now this other marketing company will have to pay some crazy fine.

I could go on, but I'm not going to post something that could be misinterpreted (seeing how my sig seems to be the number 2 result for Rocky's speech). Evil

Shouldn't whoever reported it be arrested? As far as I can tell, this is a violation of the Clear and Present Danger clause of the first amendment. Somebody yells "BOMB!" and then they have no hand in it when THEY are a more direct influence on the resultant money spent in this whole fiasco? They're looking for a scapegoat, so they're pointing to the people that put it up. So fucking typical. This system is bullshit. Bleating and Babbling

Remember how we talked about killing off the babies born with severe handicaps??? Well, I think whoever thought this shit was a terrorist act should be killed too. They obviously were born with unusuable brains. Who the fuck really thinks the terrorists (if existant at all) are going to post lite-brite-bombs around fucking Boston? (or anywhere else for that matter)

Whenever they show it on the local news here, it's not blurred. Maybe because it looks more like a sai than a middle finger gesticulation.
