I'm curious, do you mean it had more of an impact on you than the others, or more of an impact as a television show in general? The Critic was certainly a great series, but it only lasted two seasons, 23 episodes in total. Dragonball alone lasted 153 episodes, DBZ had nearly 300. The series is a frikkin' worldwide phenomenon, has an enormous fanbase, and it was one of the series' that popularized anime in America. I certainly don't think that The Critic had anywhere near as much of an impact as Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.

It had an impact on me more than all the others, I wouldn't make the argument that it did better, because it obviously didn't.

That's because using threats on the internet is one of the most pathetic ways to get your point across.

This is why you're an idiot.
Please go outside and bang your head into the sidewalk until you die, or I will personally come over there and either rape your ass with my rusty shovel or smash your fucking brains in with a baseball bat, true Goodfellas style.
Your choice. |
Dude, that's totally unnecessary. What the fuck did you sit on today? Or are you just a total lunatic?
Your attitude in your first post to Dodds was also totally uncalled for.

Nekky, Dodd, both of you cut it out. Take that shit to the nWo. And Dodd, assuming that last post is referring to Nekky, she's a girl.
And her attitude in her first post to Dodd was perfectly acceptable. I stated something in the first post of the thread and already clarified it Sathien. There was no excuse for him making that mistake.

I am honestly pleasently surprised that DBZ was able to pull off a comeback, and yes I'd say that Critic never made that much of an impact, I know people who refer to the show as "That show about the dude who got a commercial episode on Simpsons".

Dragonball
The only anime I really got into (Z to be specific).
I really only paid attention from the Saiyan saga to Cell. By the time Buu hit, I was past it. I couldn't spend the time watching two guys power up for five episodes, doing things to piss off the hero so he just gets even more powerful.
Wait? Am I voting for it, or am I attacking it?
Well, even with the long waits, it was entertaining. GT didn't seem fun and I didn't watch any of the original until I lost interest so I didn't get into it.

Bunny man you should hold off on closing this until either show has at least a 2 point lead.

INTERNET ARGUMENT!
I voted for The Critic. I liked Johnny Bravo, am ambivalent towards Dragonball, and hate anything involving scooby doo.

There is an excuse, it's a mistake. Big deal. He doesn't deserve to be yelled at and called an idiot for something so trivial. Don't defend Nekkoru just because you think she's a girl and think it'll get you laid (cuz it won't).
There's no excuse to be a fucking dick even if you have a pussy.

If I did that, they may never close. First and second doesn't matter too much anyways.
In any event, I'm calling this one closed. The Critic wins (blegh), Dragon Ball takes a close second.
Fig, when you get a sec, could you update the title to show this has closed? Thanks.
