I am a huge fan of Randy. It never bothers me when he is featured in an episode because he's just as gullible as Butters but in a different way.

I don't recall a single Randy episode as of this part of the season, but the only episode I can think of where Butters didn't play a large role was the "Whale Whores" episode. |
If we're only counting this half of the season (since October), Randy hasn't been much of a factor. Counting both halves, he was a significant part of "Margaritaville" and "Pinewood Derby".
Only counting this half, Butters wasn't much of a presence in "Dead Celebrities", and was just part of the ensemble in "W.T.F"

I fucking love that. Why don't I remember it from an episode though? Was it part of a special or something? |
It was her audition for Cartman's boy band. The episode is here if you want to watch it.

Oh my God I totally forgot about that episode! That was so classic.

I'll say this episode is a step up from last week's
This is how Butters should be used

I won't say I was disappointed by this episode because it was pretty darn funny, but its my least-favorite of the shows so far this season. It just felt very...meh. (Although the sub-plot with Cartman was great, as was the running gag of Kyle finding out just how non-hygenic everyone but he is heheh.)
Overall I'd give it a B-. Not too bad, but nothing special.

I thought it was really good, I liked Cartman's minority song, when Randy was getting pissed on was pretty funny.
Oh, and btw, I think this was the season finale.

^ Ah, that's right, it was the finale indeed. Still vote it as the weakest show of the season, but that's saying more about the stratospheric quality of this season than it does about the quality of this ep in particular.

I agree that this was the weakest episode of this half of the season. There was a lot of funny stuff, but there was waaay too much pee. Even in cartoon form, seeing the monkeys and then Randy get peed on made me a little uncomfortable.
Best line of the episode, by far, was when Kyle had to swim through the pee and then Butters asked "Do you need to wash your hands?"

I will say, even though it was a 2012 parody, I wish this entire season would've been more current events. It just seemed quite tone for what you'd expect out of South Park, which is fine sometimes..but when you don't get anything at all, you question if the networks have anything to do with it.

My thoughts exactly.
Out of curiosity, what would you call the weakest episode of the season as a whole? (I ask because my memory honestly sucks and I'm wondering if I was underwhelmed by another episode this season and just forgot about it.)

I'd have to say that Jonas Brothers episode was the weakest
Thet took the obvious jokes over the ones that could deliver more, in my honest opinion

Just saw it. It was pretty forgettable.
That Jonas Bros episode was funny if only for Mickey Mouse.

I wasn't a fan of the episode, but I thought it was kinda funny how they all discussed hygiene.
I have always washed my hands after I pee, but I often times wonder why. Touching the sink, door, and flush lever are the dirtiest things in the room, not myself. Hell, I touch gross stuff all day long on keyboards, papers, and copy machines, what exactly am I doing when I clean my hands after I hold my junk for two seconds?
I'll continue to clean my hands with soap and water, because if I don't I'll be the outsider in civilization. It doesn't mean I'll understand it though.

Yeah, as I understand it from documentaries he was cremated, not frozen.

The first person frozen didn't even happen until a month after his death.

I don't care if it's a rumor or not, I would rather see that than Mickey.

With the season over, I feel like some sort of recap is over. Complete with subjective meaningless grades
http://www.southparkstudios.com/guide/?season=13 should have (most of) the episodes (eventually all)
The Ring - This was mostly just funny for the Mickey Mouse parody, but yeah, those damn promise rings are stupid. B-
The Coon - Nice to see Professor Chaos again, but just not much besides a blah Dark Knight parody. C-
Margaritaville - I don't know. This one just seemed...boring. And pointless. C+
Eat, Pray, Queef - Ugh. No comment. D-
Fishsticks - I just started laughing just looking at the title. Got funnier after the VMA awards too. And you have to love the song. A
Pinewood Derby - Fun fact: When me and my brother were in cub scouts, we tore up the Pinewood Derby. One year, I got first and he got third, the next he got first and I got second. As far as I know, I didn't use any subatomic particles, but my stepdad was alone with the cars a lot. Anyways, decent enough episode, seemed a lot like the "classic" episodes of the "weird shit in Colorado" variety. B+
Fatbeard - It was funny until Trey and Matt got all preachy on us. B-
Dead Celebrities - About 10 years too late to parody The Sixth Sense, but it was a nice little send-off I guess. C (but then, I'm just ignorant...)
Butters' Bottom Bitch - I loved it on the Butters side. Too much gross-out on the cop side for my tastes. Still awesome overall. A-
W.T.F. - Meh, I thought it could have been much funnier. Pro wrestling is so ripe for parody. At least they didn't go the "steroids" route. C
Whale Whores - Wow. I still wonder if this guy crapped in Parker and Stone's cornflakes one morning and were trying to get him back. An excellent episode overall. A-
The F Word - Slamming inconsiderate Harley-riders, making commentary on the word "fag" in popular usage, cameos by old, beloved characters, one of the best puns I've heard in ages, and...they manage not to let it fall apart anywhere. Perfect. Bike-curious...hehe A+
Dances with Smurfs - Slamming more people who deserve it, and it's kind of cool to see Wendy pwn Cartman like this. I hope it becomes a seasonal tradition. A-
Pee - Ugh. Some good commentary about super-finicky people, but...ugh. Poor way to end the season. D+

Overall I enjoyed the season, but I hated the break between episode 7 and 8.
Honestly what was up with the 6 month time lapse?

I imagine it's part of their contract with comedy central.

Probably to spread the episodes out more. Summer is a dead time for TV anyways.
I do know the production schedule for South Park is exhausting, they do it all the week it airs and sometimes they go down to the last couple of hours. Maybe the long break is to give everyone a chance to recover and set up for the next blitz.
