What comedians, stand-up or other wise, are you guys into? On a bit of a comedy binge right now, listening to David Cross after listening to like three Bill Hicks CDs.

I likes the Denis Leary. "No Cure For Cancer" is still one of my favorite comedy CDs.

Titus is a funny guy, but I always felt that Stacy Keach really stole the show on the sitcom.

Nikki Payne is amazing... I love her on Video on Trial on MuchMusic! Here's a video by her, I have no idea if it is funny or not, since we can't watch youtube at work... but here she is:

John Heffron is funny as hell. He was hilarious on last comic standing. Wish I could find his Comedy Central show online though. In a very close second is Frank Caliendo (Spelling?).

I'm actually watchign norman rockwell is bleeding right now. it's most of the stuff from the show, word for word, but it's probably the reason the show is so great.

I love so many comics that I'm not going to list anyone really. I will compliment Vald's Rowan Atkinson statement since I don't think many know that he's done anything other than Mr. Bean and perhaps Johnny English. He's done a bunch of live sketch work and was also the voice of Zazu from The Lion King. My favorite collection is Rowan Atkinson Live, particularly the Shakespeare generalizations sketch. That gets me every time.

Also, since no one's mentioned them: Dane Cook and Louis Black.

Good choices as well. There's been a lot of Dane Cook backlash in recent months for some reason.

Also, Dana Carvey's HBO stand-up special stands out as pretty awesome.

The previews for the movie he was in didn't look too great. But that's my own opinion and I figure the general public would eat it up like usual. I'm not sure on the state of that... I just know that he's a hilarious guy and that seemed like a lame movie.

Bill Hicks is my favorite. From the way he deals with hecklers to his drug stories, every thing about the guy rings true with me. It's a shame he's dead.

Ricky Gervais, Bob Dylan and Jack Dee are all excellent stand ups. I don't mind this prick called Jim Sterling who's done a few gigs, but he mainly hangs around on message boards being a twat Smile
