andrew made a cover of Justin's song in Trance Polka
the request read
"You should cover a song that a) should never be covered in the first place and b) in a style that it never should be covered in."

seriously? I think his music sucks ass and everything, but all the same, it's not the kid's fault that he's the Tiger Beat poster boy du jour. if Leif Garrett taught us anything, this kid has a lifetime worth of failed relationships, DUI charges and crippled friends to look forward to. seriously, the more you talk about how much you feel one way or the other about him, the longer his shelf life is. if everyone would just ignore the media machine, he wouldn't be there for you to hate anymore. but you might not be able to handle that, because we always need a scapegoat.

Yeah, it's only funny if someone his own age did it, otherwise it's kind of mean.

I heard this mentioned on the radio today, they said he was hit in the head with a bottle. I was thinking someone smashed a beer bottle over his head so I'm understandably a little disappointed.

I don't see why this is a good thing. He is a teeny bop kid, it isn't like he is actually hurting anyone... not like Nickelback. They fucking hurt people with their terrible music.

It's all in proportion. JB is just an annoying flavor of the month teen pop star so he gets a water bottle to the head. Nickelback seems to think they are serious rock idols and won't go away, so they get rocks to the head.

He handles it quite well, unlike Nickelback.

Personally, I never understood why all this hate towards him.
Yes, his music is unremarkable and a cardboard box has more personality than him, but that's not his fault that the media (and parents) decided to make him the pretty face of the week. If you're gonna throw things at people, throw them at the agents and other leeches who are filling his head with unrealistic expectations that he'll still be somebody one or two years from now.
Who the hell cares.. he's made millions already... doesn't matter what happens tomorrow. I agree he did handle the bottle throwing instant well. I liked how he flowed back into his on-stage gig.

I dunno but that bottled water probably cost $10 at the concession stand.

I'd pay $50 for the ticket and another 10 for the water if I could do that.

That was quite amusing.
However you can't say they didn't handle it well. Whether you like them or not put yourself in their situation.
You are playing on a stage and getting rocks thrown at you. If a rock hits you it could seriously injure you. I would have packed my bags and been out of there.

I could never put myself in Nickelback's situation. Consciously inflicting terrible music on people is like a hate crime against humanity.

That isn't a water bottle at all, but a wonderful, magical container that holds the lucrative and dense fluids of musical justice.

I was at an AC/DC concert, someone started beating the stage with chains. Someone in the band (don't remember who) took the chains and started beating the guy with them. Very interesting.

I guess we are all happy that he got hawhacked by the water bottle, but Bieber is clearly just next in line of the teeny-bop "everyone hates, except 12-17 year old girls" artists like David Cassidy, yadda yadda yadda.

I still don't hate him as much as Miley Cyrus.

True, but I'd rather put my dick in her than in Bieber.

this thread is shamefull!! no not because of how you guys are talking but because Nickelback and Bieber are canadian
On behalf of all canadians, I apologize to the Syd Lexia forum members for having to even hear about this shit, I assure you, not all canadian music is this bad! some of it is actually pretty good!! infact I would say some of it is pretty damn awesome!! however... its artists like these that make me hang my head in shame
Let's assume it's a mixture of the two!

Meh. Let him do his thing, I haven't heard a song he's made so I don't know if he sucks or not and I refuse to hate the guy just because he has teenage girls going ape shit over him.
Hell, I wish I had teenage girls going ape shit over my dull ass.
