I agree with everything else you said, but I thought Guilty Simpson had one of the better albums I've heard in a while. Maybe I'm biased cause I'm a huge Dilla fan, but he definitely doesn't deserve to be grouped with the rest of those shitty artists....

i dont mind J Dilla, but i heard guilty simpsons last album and i wasnt impressed (i should probably say that is also the only guilty simpson album ive heard. maybe ill like him better if i heard his other stuff)

In my opinion Kanye has fallen into the same trap most rappers fall into: Fame. Fame leads to Pride, Pride leads to people hating the shit out of you. When people hate the shit out of you, you lash out and piss people off. And then history repeats with stupid rap battles and talkin shit about other artists. No, Kanye is not Jesus, and in my book his music is good, but not extraordinary. Also he seems to appeal only to niche groups which is a shame. So to answer your question, Kanye West is NOT Jesus.

His ego may be hard to swallow, but at the end of the day he's still putting out albums that are far superior than almost all mainstream hip-hop artists. Not that the bar is set very high these days, but I own and have enjoyed all of his albums thus far...

Speaking of music and Jesus, I'm watching That 70s Show. There is a guy trying to get Laurie, Eric and Hyde to come to church. He asks the family to draw a picture of what God looks like to them.
When Hyde shows his picture, the guy says, "Thats nice, when you think of God you picture Jesus.
And Hyde says, "Thats not Jesus, its Clapton."
Okay...I'm sure its funnier if you're actually watching it.
