Does anyone other than me have Zelda: Phantom Hourglass? It's awesome, and the new touchscreen controls are better than I thought they would be.

I got that game for my birthday, but I havent seen my DS in about 5 months since I lent it to a friend lol. I will probably end up getting that black/red one though next paycheck to check it out. The game looks cool and I read decent reviews about it, only thing is, I hear Ganon is not in it.

I picked it up, I haven't played it yet. I'm hoping to play it sometime in earlier November as a reward to myself for finishing some more new articles.

Speaking of handheld, Zelda, what about Minish Cap? It got largely favorable reviews, but it was mysteriously absent from many retailers' shelves about a month after its release. I want to pick it up, but no one fucking has it!

I'm just getting around to playing Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. This is the first game I've actually played in a long time.

I tried to like Minish Cap, but it gets tedious switching between sizes, later in the game. I guess it was okay, but not on par with Zelda 1-3.

I watched a video for PH and it looked annoying how the game froze every time you hit a monster. Seriously, I can't stand that shit. The entire thing is based off of OoT slowing down when you were in combat, but that was only because of shitty CPU lag. So the fans all got used to that slowdown, they fucking manually put it in to make the swordfights look cool. Dumb.

I managed to procure a ROM of Minish Cap right after it came out and played through the whole thing. Then later I saw the game at Fry's and bought the real thing. It was kind of like digital renting. I liked it a lot, especially the shrinking aspect of it (I dunno, just a fan of dumb things like that).

Phantom Hourglass looks fun and I have a bunch of friends who are all fawning over it. I really want to play it someday, so it's on Bluey's Big List of Games He Wants but Can't Buy Because He Doesn't Have a Job.

I have Minish Cap and that was a very fun game. In fact, my friend who last played a video game like 8 years ago when the original Smash Bros. came out on N64, played Minish Cap for a couple minutes and ended up liking it so much he played the whole way through. Good luck trying to find it Syd. Try Amazon.com: here
There's no new ones but its worth a shot

My two friends both have PH, but I can't afford it right now. I only have $80 at the moment and all that is going to a new bike when Winter's over. Maybe I'll be able to get it somehow. I have played Multiplayer with them and it's fun. Minish Cap is about the only ROM I've ever played extensively. I'm almost to the end, and now I play it every once in awhile. If I ever saw it somewhere cheap I'd defintely buy it.

Totally off topic, but when I first read this topic I was in the middle of writng a paper for an economics class. For a second I swear to God I thought you were talking about the Fed's recent decision to lower the prime interest rate.
Man, this class needs to end.

I just purchased LoZ Phantom Hourglass. It's pretty damn awesome. I love the multiplayer mode, and the touch-screen method of moving works out surprisingly well. I don't really like how you can slash with your sword though. It doesn't seem very effective except for cutting grass. Maybe later in the game it will be used more.

Nah, I thought the slashing was good, and I use the stabbing move for for quick kills.

On second thought, we gotta play online sometime.

It seems like the video exaggerated that, as it's really not as annoying as OoT or Wind Waker.

That would be a good excuse to finally use the USB thingy I've had for months. I bought it from my friend but I can't really figure out how it works.
