Hi, I really like to drink beer, and I really like to play video games.
Unfortunately I've noticed that the two don't mix. Sure when you start everything is fine, you've got a buzz, you and your wingman are whooping Contra, its a grand bit of fun for the entire family. (unless you don't like beer and or video games, which in my opinion means theres something inherently wrong with you)
The problem is that beer by nature is impossible to stop drinking once you hit a certain point, and of course the drunker you get the more retarded your basic motor skills become.

I drank five of these

and one of these

through the course of the night, (yes I know low quality but I live in the ghetto and thats all the corner store has Mad

) and had a hell of time keeping my little 8 bit commando alive. Sad

Shit it wasn't even from tricky bullets fired from enemies at weird to hit angles or difficult bosses, I and my friend could not even keep from walking straight into pits and enemies, and jumping? Jumping was out of service. The night ended with the Nintendo sitting gleefully looping the title screen while we argued in slurred tones about if it was possible to send a time machine back in time with another time machine.

I kinda lost my train of thought here and I'm still hung over, so just remember that freinds dont let freinds play nintendo drunk. Exclamation

Nothing wrong w/the old Steel and/or MD 20/20. Orange is the best flavor. It still tastes like asshole, but not as bad as the other ones lol.

I never dared play contra whilst drunk. I will tell you though that I get inherently better at DDR while I'm drinking, which shouldnt happen.

Late night LAN Halo + SSBM really, really goes south for me when im drunk playing. At least it keeps me distracted from drunk dialing or drunk texting lol.

I always prided myself on my Street Fighter 2 Turbo prowess on SNES, but my buddy had a Genesis. I got my ass kicked several times dealing with A B and C instead of my beloved A B X Y L and R....

Until one night I decided it was a good night for some Olde English and a six of Yuengling (anyone from NJ-PA?) Somehow I became, better, faster, stronger. Capable of things I'd never done before on the Genesis. Booze was the nectar of the gods that night, my friends. I am now roughly 2-40 in SF2T matches on the Genesis. Both of my wins, however, came when I was shitfaced.

I like to combine various drugs with video games. Weed is fun with games like GTA. For FPS or puzzle games, alcohol or hallucinogens.

A small amount of alcohol can help me play better at FPS'es and fighting games, dunno why, it just makes me loosen up a bit.

Tekken is such a button masher that I can play it drunk without any adverse side effects.

Tekken's not a button masher, it's something even worse. It's a dial-a-combo game. All you do is remember the 10 hit combos and do them brainlessly and repeatedly.

I agree, don't try any shooter when high or drunk.

RayCrisis fucked me up when high. Couldn't get past the first level.

Also in NSMB high and drunk, I fell through the same hole over and over and over again..

Eddy, of course. I'll also use Nina, depending on my mood. Or Julia, but Drunken Julia rarely goes well.

Playing Lei while drunk is risky, cuz he's got all those different stances and it's easy to end up rolling around on the ground like an epileptic preschooler once you really starting pounding drinks.

SMB is fucking impossible when I'm under the influence, get stuck in a constant loop at world 8 level 3, thank god for that hold down A press start continue trick.

Any RTS, and I mean ANY RTS, really kicks my ass drunk. Even campaign vs the comp.

And I can see how Mario Kart would be fun drunk and/or high. Especially over WiFi. You'd be all "Whoa, a shell dude!"

I mostly play as the mishima/kazamas, the taekwando guys, the kings, or steve, with steve being my favorite. drunk I try to avoid the kings because they require too much preciseness, which usually ends with me constantly dashing forward and gettign kicked in the head.

Playing competitive games and drinking is the shit. I used to drink and play THPS2 or Soul Calibur for hours on end with a buddy. Co-op or one player? Fucking forget it
