Maxwell and Lily's next Scribblenauts adventure sees the pair venturing into the DC Comics universe through the power of their magic notebook. The siblings love comics, and the whole reason they even want to enter DC's universe is to see who's better between Batman and Superman. The Scribblenauts heroes quickly learn that there's a far greater issue at hand and they'll need to help all the DC's heroes out in this new adventure.

While this is all very heavily focused on the DC universe, the same Scribblenauts mechanics and gameplay systems are in place. DC Comics fans are especially going to like this one as it's not just The New 52 characters featured in Unmasked. This is a giant sandbox featuring over 2,000 DC characters, vehicles, locations, and more that ranges back to even obscure stuff from 1976.

Scribblenauts Unmasked will take you to a ton of different DC locations. In the demo we saw, Maxwell and the various heroes are hanging out in the Batcave. These locations are faithful representations of DC environments, and there's a surprising amount of depth to them.

I'm confused by it. Scribblenauts, at its best, is a puzzle game. The trailer looks all action-y.

I'm all kinds of excited. I will never get a Silver Age Legion of Super Heroes video game. The prospect of making my own via Scribblenauts is the closest I will ever get. I can't wait to throw down hard with Bouncing Boy, Matter Eater Lad, and Duo Damsel.

Ah Scribblenauts. Here in Europe we are STILL waiting for the Wii U version. Nintendo just decided to pull the release.

It was meant to be released in early February...they still haven't even released a fucking statement as to when it is going to be out and why it was pulled.

Seriously Nintendo of Europe enjoys nothing more than shitting on its userbase from a great height.

What is Nintendo's deal when it comes to Europe? It seems like they hardly care and seems like it's been that way since forever.

Which is why Europe got the Mistwalker games months before North America did during a time when it seemed North America wouldn't get them at all, right?

Oh wow, one franchise.

You really aren't aware how bad NoE is.

In North America you get gaming news from Reggie about upcoming releases and their release dates. We don't get any of that.

Some of our games are banned and were for a period locked until watershed due to Nintendos headquarters in Germany.

If there is a problem, they don't release a statement to tell us.

They charge all 3DS currency as Euro. Which means I have to incur a charge on my bank account for withdrawing foreign currency. This doesn't really bother me, as my Wii U is currently paying in Euro too instead of Sterling.

You get games on VC before we do, even though we are technically ahead of you in terms of time zones. Super Metroid was released here just an hour ago - 4pm. North America had it hours before we did.

We don't get games either. Maybe you've heard of Earthbound. Its release this year will be its debut in Europe. In fact there are games on the Wi U VC in North America we don't even have at all at the moment. Balloon Fight is one.

The fact of the matter is that Nintendo of Europe has basically no key notes, no interaction at all with its users in Europe.

We have to get all our news from North America.

When I was stationed in Schweinfurt awhile back I used to hate withdrawing money from an atm that wasn't on post. The conversion was killer and it was hard for me to keep up with the difference and not overspend. I suppose I can understand where you're coming from in a way.

NoE has a better Club Nintendo than America. So there's that.

As for Scribblenauts Unlimited, there's a pending lawsuit against Scribblenauts from the copyright holders for nyancat. So maybe that has something to do with it.
