Part of the P90X routine that I do includes yoga and stretching. I have been actively doing these workouts for 5 months now and I feel as though my flexibility is plateauing.

I would really like to be able to throw higher kicks in martial arts and increase my range of motion with my arms and back.

Any suggestions on how to improve my flexibility?

Take about an hour or five mile walk every day. You have no idea just how much that improves your entire body, and not just in terms of flexibility.

I don't have time to walk an additional hour a day and my joints won't support it. I am trying to gain flexibility here, not strength.

If you're losing flexibility you may need to replace the corn syrup in your arms.
