Turned out to be a pretty entertaining movie.

My fiance' really wanted to see it, so I took her, and it was pretty good. Though, apparently they saved a bunch of money on voice actors, has Robin Williams voices like 12 characters...

I think they saved on script costs too, because a lot of it sounded like they gave Williams some coke and a microphone, and just let him roll with it.

Glad you liked it, because my girlfriend really wants to see it too so we're probably gonna go see it in IMAX if it's still there after Christmas. That's most likely a huge stretch and something else will be there by then, but never know. Nice to know I'm not the only one in this situation and that it turned out to be good. (Secretly though, I've thought for months now it looked like it'd be kinda entertaining )

Can you prove the link between the movie "happy feet", and homosexual intercourse or any other homosexual relationship?

He's probably referring to the movie itself, in which case it's a good call. Come on, neither of you would probably see this if it was completely up to you. And I don't understand why girls would want to see it either it. I know that a lot of them have a code genetically hardwire into their DNA that makes them want to see crappy romance movies like The Lake House but Happy Feet? HAPPY FEET!?

I know it's got talking animals, which is a dealmaker for some girls, but they're not even cute animals. They're penguins.

CNN has an article on their front page that I'm too lazy to link here that talks about how some people are miffed (yes, they use the word "miffed") at Happy Feet for being too gay and environmentally heavy-handed.

Unless there's butt-sex in it or Dick Cheney installs an oil pipeline through their home, I'm pretty sure it's a knee-jerk reaction by a group of morons.

Wait, I thought it was about a group of penguins, and one likes to dance and is an outcast for it or something and...I dunno, I'm working on trailers here. It's aimed at childrent hough so I don't see why it would be environmentally heavy handed. WTF are they gonna do?

There's a lot of singing and dancing, so I guess it could be considered "gay" in the Showtunes, broadway musical sense of the word. As for the enviromental issues, it's nothing outrageous or anything. It not even oil related. Without spoiling the movie, (Not like most of you care...) they are having a food shortage and trying to figure out where the fish are going.

And, I too think Penguins are extremely cute...*

*Except for Chili Willie, he should be killed and eaten by that polar bear that is always chasing him.

I know you're kidding, but Incredibles is an example. Syndrome obviously had a Skeletor-type man crush on Mr. Incredible. BUT, before you say that was against gays, let us not forget the close bond between Mr. Incredible and FroZone. An OBVIOUS reference to the relationships superhero males have to one another. C'mon, they lied to their wives to "go bowling" with each other. More like Brokeback Incredibles to me.
